On May 4, 2014, supporters of Public Benefit Aviation will gather at the Endeavor Awards Gala to honor the gallant men and women who give the gift of flight. Missions include flying people to treatment at faraway medical centers; transporting blood to critically ill patients; flying special needs kids to summer camps; and many more humanitarian missions.
On May 4, 2014, supporters of Public Benefit Aviation will launch their Inaugural Endeavor Awards gala event which will take place in the Samuel Oschin Space Shuttle Endeavour Pavilion at the California Science Center. Astronauts, Hollywood luminaries and legendary aviators will gather to honor the heroes who provide the gift of flight to thousands of people each year.
The 1st Annual Endeavor Awards welcomes popular air show performer Sean Tucker to the Host Committee of the gala event. Tucker joins another legendary aviator Clay Lacy; Endeavour Astronaut Scott Parazynski and his fellow astronauts; and, Hollywood luminaries, Robert Zemeckis and Ed Asner as they honor the true heroes of flying, both individuals and organizations, who have shown their devotion to Public Benefit Aviation.
The Endeavor Awards, celebrating Public Benefit Aviation, welcomes Ed Asner to its Gala Host Committee. Asner, now portraying Franklin D. Roosevelt in his one-man play, FDR, said, “I’m delighted to support this event and to honor the legacy of FDR, who established the Civil Aeronautics Administration, ensuring safe, public aviation in America.”
An Endeavour Astronaut, an Oscar winner, a legendary aviator and other celebrities welcome the CEO of UCLA Hospital System, David Feinberg, MD, MBA, as he joins the Gala Host Committee for the Endeavor Awards celebrating Public Benefit Aviation and benefiting Angel Flight West.

Public Benefit Aviation Supporters Launch Endeavor Awards Gala Event to be Held at the California Science Center, in the Samuel Oschin Space Shuttle Endeavour Pavilion
The Endeavor Awards will be a red carpet celebrity black-tie event that will honor, recognize and celebrate public benefit aviation and the good flying does. Major entertainment and dinner will fill out an evening highlighted by awards given in three categories, all supporting people and organizations that have committed resources and assistance to public benefit aviation – free flights flown for humanitarian reasons. There will also be two special awards. Nominations for the Endeavor Awards will be officially announced in early 2014.
