“Angel Flight West brings hundreds of passengers from the western states to specialized care at UCLA,” said Gala Chair Mark Wolper. “Volunteer pilots across the nation take passengers to a wide range of humanitarian services, but providing access to health care is the predominant part of their missions. The Endeavor Awards Gala will honor their contributions to make better health care a reality for thousands. We are very pleased to have Dr. Feinberg add his support and recognition to the work of public benefit aviation.”
Dr. Feinberg was appointed President of UCLA Health System in 2011. In addition to his role as President, he has been CEO and Associate Vice Chancellor since 2007, after having served as Medical Director of the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital and head of the NPH Faculty Practice Group. Dr. Feinberg also is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry on the faculty of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
