Call For 2025 Endeavor Awards Nominations!
2025 Endeavor Award Nominations Now Open
You and your organization have the opportunity to nominate a pilot who exemplifies a personal contribution and commitment to charitable flying by volunteering their time, resources, and aircraft to help others. Two awardees will be selected: one by the Endeavor Awards Selection Committee, and one via online voting by the general public.
The organizations represented by the awardees will an award, promo video, and the story of their work will be presented at the event on Friday, May 10, 2024
Nomination Criteria:
-
- A volunteer pilot who has gone above and beyond in giving back to his or her community through donated flights.

- Flies on behalf of one or more registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits based in the United States.

- Operates aircraft within Federal Aviation Administration requirements, including no compensation for fuel or otherwise without exemption. if flying Part 91
-
- Special consideration will be given to the total number of lifetime flights, philanthropic impact, and compelling or extraordinary flight(s).

Voting and Selection Process | October 16 – 30, 2023
Qualified Nominees will be notified before October 13, 2023. Public voting for the qualified nominees starts on October 16th and concludes on October 30 The two recipient winners and their respective non-profits will be announced on February 17, 2023. One recipient will be chosen by the public based on the highest count of votes from the public. One vote per person, per email. The second recipient will be chosen by the Endeavor Awards Selection Committee.

About the Endeavor Awards and Angel Flight West
The Endeavor Awards is hosted by Angel Flight West (AFW) and will take place in Los Angeles, in the Samuel Oschin Space Shuttle Endeavour Pavilion at the California Science Center on Friday, June 9, 2023, to honor and celebrate the work of volunteer pilots nationwide. Volunteer pilots donate their time and the gift of flight to save lives, provide access to medical care, transport veterans, and rescue animals, map environmental data, aid in disaster relief, and contribute to the public good in communities nationwide.
This memorable event will shine a spotlight on volunteer pilots’ selfless work. Angel Flight West hopes this event can serve as a platform for all Volunteer Pilot Organizations to gain recognition and funding together. Aviation heroes and celebrities will come together to raise awareness and support for charitable flying everywhere. Air Care Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public service organization supporting the work of volunteer-based charitable organizations whose members fly to help others. ACA’s mission is to promote, support, and represent public benefit flying through communication and cooperation among organizations facilitating flights for health, compassion, and community service. ACA represents over 50 volunteer pilot organizations that form a vibrant ecosystem of service through aviation. ACA encourages volunteerism among pilots and ensures that charitable aviation remains a viable resource for those who need it most.
