2025 Endeavor Awards Nominations Now Open - Award Grant!
Angel Flight West with the support of Air Care Alliance is seeking nominations for two recipients of the 2025 Endeavor Awards for the 11th Annual Endeavor Awards.
You and your organization have the opportunity to nominate a pilot who exemplifies a personal contribution and commitment to charitable flying by volunteering their time, resources, and aircraft through your organization to help others. One awardee will be selected by the Endeavor Awards Host Committee, and one awardee will be selected via online voting by the general public. The organizations represented by the awardees will each receive a grant award along with a promo video, and the story of their work will be presented at the event on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Nomination Criteria
- A volunteer pilot who has gone above and beyond in giving back to his or her community through donated flights.
- Flies on behalf of one or more registered 501(c)(3) non-profits based in the United States.
- Operates aircraft within Federal Aviation requirements, including if flying Part 91, no compensation for fuel or otherwise without exemption.
- The volunteer pilot must be able to attend the 2025 Endeavor Awards on May 9, 2025 with the grant award supplementing travel costs.
- Special consideration will be given to the total number of lifetime flights, philanthropic impact, and compelling or extraordinary flight(s).
The deadline to submit nominations is August 1, 2024

Nominations Process | July 16 – August 1, 2024
The nomination will take 30-45 minutes to complete. There is no limit to the number of nominations that you can submit. They must meet all of the nomination criteria listed above. If you nominated someone in the past who was not selected and would like to nominate that person again, please contact us at hennya@angelflightwest.org
Voting and Selection Process | August 12 – 16, 2024
Qualified Nominees will be notified before August 12, 2024. Public voting for the qualified nominees starts on August 12 and concludes on August 16, 2024. The two recipient winners and their respective non-profits will be announced in fall 2024. One recipient will be chosen by the public based on the highest count of votes from the public. One vote per person, per email. The second recipient will be chosen by the Endeavor Awards Host Committee.

The Endeavor Awards is hosted by Angel Flight West (AFW) and will take place in Los Angeles on Friday May 9, 2025, to honor and celebrate the work of volunteer pilots nationwide. Volunteer pilots donate their time and the gift of flight to save lives, provide access to medical care, transport veterans, and rescue animals, map environmental data, aid in disaster relief, and contribute to the public good in communities nationwide.
This memorable event will shine a spotlight on volunteer pilots’ selfless work. Angel Flight West hopes this event can serve as a platform for all Volunteer Pilot Organizations to gain recognition and funding together. Aviation heroes and celebrities will come together to raise awareness and support for charitable flying everywhere.
