What is the Endeavor Awards?
The Endeavor Awards draws over 500 supporters, community pilots, business leaders in technology and healthcare and innovators in other socially conscious enterprises. We award the inspiration award to two deserving companies or individuals that have had an impact in charitable aviation. This year’s Inspiration Honorees are Sean D. Tucker and Red Bull. We also honor two incredibly volunteer pilots. This year’s Endeavor Award honorees are Gary Dee Dyson of Orbis International and Merry Schroeder of LightHawk. These Endeavor Awards recipients are highlighted for their extraordinary work in charitable flying. In addition to the award, the organizations they represent each receive a $15,000 grant to support their programs.
Why Donate?
We are raising funds to continue to deliver health and hope using donated flights to serve those with healthcare or other compelling human needs. The second biggest barrier to accessing healthcare, besides the cost of treatment, is transportation. Today, more than 3.6 million Americans are missing the opportunity to receive care because they simply can’t access treatment.
Angel Flight West (AFW) is bridging the gap from home to health for thousands of them, AFW plays a significant role in arranging access to care for passengers who could not otherwise afford travel to treatment. Our volunteer pilots donate all the costs of flights. There is never a charge for an Angel Flight West mission.
